In fact, there are two swimming pools at Centra Greens – one for adults and another for kids. These two pools come in different sizes and depths so that residents of all ages can swim, play or simply have a dip and relax in the pool. What’s more, the management has decided to turn the swimming pools into all-weather swimming pools so that the residents can enjoy their time in the pools anytime, without needing to be concerned with the weather condition or water temperature.

In order to keep the pools in their best condition, regular and proper maintenance is a must. And for that reason, Mr Amit Bhalla from Centra Greens contacted and consulted Waterco on the subject of swimming pool maintenance, seeking solutions to make sure the swimming pools are always clean and crystal-clear, free from unpleasant odours and at a controlled temperature. All in all, a world-class, easy-to-operate, easy-to-maintain and cost-effective pool maintenance system.

Acknowledging all the needs and requirements of Mr Amit, Waterco suggested a complete, cost-effective, easy to- handle system to take care of the heating, cleaning and circulation of the two swimming pools. The system proposed and installed at Centra Greens consisted of three units of 44kW Electroheat Plus Heat Pumps, two units of Micron Side Mount SM750 Filters and two units of Supatuf MK2 Pumps.

At the time of writing, the system is working as anticipated, and the management of the apartment is extremely pleased with the outcome. As for the residents, they can enjoy the clean, clear swimming pools day and night, and without having to experience any cold shock.

Electroheat Plus Heat Pump
The Waterco Electroheat Plus is an energy-efficient heat pump that gives you a warm pool 24/7. It requires significantly lower energy than gas and electric heaters to generate the same amount of heat, or in layman’s terms, it is an extremely cost-effective heat pump. Also, unlike some heat pumps, Electroheat Plus does not rely on the sun for heat extraction, making it an excellent choice even for indoor pools.
Micron Side Mount SM750 Filter
The Waterco Micron Side Mount SM750 Filter is a single-piece vessel wrapped by strands of high-quality fibreglass filament. Some unique characteristics of the Fibreglass Filter include being lightweight, easy to handle and extremely sturdy. Moreover, it demands bare minimum maintenance, can withstand high stresses, is resistant to UV, fire and corrosion, and is also non-conductive and weatherproof – all features of making it a superior and smart filter choice.
Supatuf MK2
The Waterco Supatuf MK2 pump is specifically designed for large swimming pools with ancillary systems, such as heating, in-floor cleaning, fountains, vacuum cleaning and swim jets. It is a highly efficient and durable pool pump, mainly thanks to the incorporated high-grade SS316 mechanical seal and a secondary protection seal/bracket. The graphite SS316 mechanical seal protects the pump against corrosion from chlorine, ozone, iodine, Baquacil, bromine and salt in water; the secondary protection seal/bracket protects the pump motor by draining any leaks from the worn-out mechanical seal.
